very close now, in a few days we will be closer to the next slickstock than the last one
this is a good thing, the last one was outstanding but its long over, i think we have mostly recovered from the events and are looking forward to a new adventure
speaking of which, i have been to 3, 2 in Iowa and one in KC so it will be kind of nice to see a new area,
will actually be the closest one.

WOW!, I didn`t even think about how much closer it will be,

100 miles closer than KCMO, but hey every mile counts when your travelling 9,059 miles one way

, seems closer somehow!

Well I guess it won't be such a big deal if the cities water plant facilities go down this time .........

Last time up that way; it certainly appeared the water system was working! Water everywhere, and not a bit to drink, according to at least one customer! It's closer for me, too, but these regional "Grub with the Club" meets are getting a little ' spensive

I know that most of you do not recognize my handle (BAMAFORD) because I have not been a regular here for many years. Life throws you curves and you have to deal with it. When I saw that SS was going to be in Salina Kansas I was stoked. I have several slicks but my main one is a 1966 F-100 Style Side Long Bed with a 352 FE and auto tranny. The reason I am stoked is because my father ordered this truck from the factory in November of 1965 through Long-McArthur Ford in Salina, Kansas. I thought to myself, wouldn't it be great to finish this truck and take it back to it's origins for SS 2016. I know that SS 2016 is a year away but this truck is totally disassembled, needs much work and to be reassembled. Hope I can get it done by next August.

Yep Alan, that's the place. Amazing it still has the same name 50 years later.
