Slick 60's

we stopped at Kevin's in Phoenix to pick up few parts and talk about stepping out in the A/C trucks < notice I said Trucks > Both are out here, anyway it was like stepping into a furnace,,, next was in Vegas leaving the Ford here while we went out in the desert to buy trucks and cut back through Death Valley 121 degrees outside to go to Ontario, Calif. drop off a 63 Roof, back in Vegas 118 degrees, this morning loaded 2 trucks on the Ford and at 5.30 AM was 97 degrees already and done by 9.00 AM and was at 104 degrees and outside temps on the trucks have gone to 137 to 140 degrees with the sun beating down on you, vehicle out here do not need warmed up, already hot, temp gauge show 120 degrees before starting so it's hot here

My sister lived out in Phoenix
Kansas can get hot..
Plenty of 100* + plus days …
I’ve seen it over a 110*….

But by morning it cools down some…
At least into the 80s*

But when I went out there… get up in the morning
6am… open the door to the outside.. feels like a blast furnace

Pat its so bad you have to wear gloves to open doors when its this bad, also Pat if the wind blows that blast furnace comes into mind, this is one of the worse ones in heat we have had to deal with, take a motel since keep these running and when it gets this hot the cooling system in the Ford cannot keep the sleeper cool enough, Now tomorrow cannot start till 7.30 AM but its not like hook and go, put our good tires on the one on the wheel lift, pull brake drums, fill gear oil in rear and drop driveshaft hook wireless tow lights will be 3 hour process, load the unibody first then 65 short bed lot lighter since bed is gone already

OH Well another day in paradise

Oh yes Pat we brought our big cooler with plenty of water and other drinks + 2 cases of extra water + and also a water jug with ice will fill up with ice,, oh yes I see people breakdown out here with no drinks/water very dangerous

And to think I move here 3 years ago. Getting used to the heat now so it's not so bad. Worse time is Monsoon season after a rain the humidity goes through the roof. Rained most of the day today temps in the mid 70's humidity in the 80% range.
