I have bent many an axle to align them hot or cold does not matter. My sons 65 has been heated and bent to do the alignment after we lowered ner a problem

sorry the 12 point socket is for the bolt in the rag joint and is found on the later models my bad :oops:

as i recall a 12 point socket for the rag joint a 5/8s for the 3 bolts on the frame and if you changing the pitman arm then you will need the puller for that and the ball joint for that hooks to the pitman arm

dalton look at the thread new truck the black and white is lowered as much as you can go and stay off the stops and i straightened the i beams to get the camber correct, they are not drop axles. the blue truck is a ltd swap and by far the best riding and driving one. bit

not sure if you swapped engine also if not that is your problem. if you used a older 302 the fly wheel is balanced different i think 81 is when they changed the balance

Will it fit under the hood of a 65 66 slick in other words would i have room to bolt the radiator in without using electric fans or anything like that?

I am not concerned with the frame just the under hood room
