Didn't think of paint!

Had an old truck once that the cops would jack me up for "no brake lights". I shoved some tin foil in there, and they had to find a different excuse.

Ya know, I usually stay out of this sort of thread, mainly because one day it might be MY truck up here on the chopping block. You don't have to like it, you don't have to dislike it. What if the next owner of that truck decides to show up at Slick Stock? Will you point out what you don't like about...

1x1 angle, and the rear crossmember is from a long truck. It's straight, so the tank sits higher.

And, there was black paint in the "low" areas to make the bars stand out.

In Texas, you don't need a front bumper, but must display the front plate up front.

Took a pic from the end. As long as the fan doesn't hit, it ain't too close. Can always change the fan spacer for a shorter one.

It's close, but the grille and all have an arc. I've been working on one on and off for a couple years. Real pain in the butt, lots of shrinking trying to get the arc right.
I shoulda bought one, and might still, if I run across one at the right time.
But today ain't that time...lol

A few years ago, my brother was having a shop built at his place. Real nice building, cost about $25,000. The guy across the street commented how he wished he had one. My brother (who was driving an old Ranger p/u) told him if he wasn't paying for that $30,000 truck he had, maybe he'd have enough to...
