I'm not to familiar with the 240 engines but I have known of guys getting the wrong mix of parts and getting alot of harmonic vibratio...

Re: 64 SWB 5.0 M5R2 swap begins

Eric, just a little info for future reference. Those are not 64 Fairlane mounts. 64 uses a stud out the bottom. They are of 66-up vintage, however, they look tall to me. If you ever want to try to lower the engine, take a look at 66-67 Fairlane mounts. They use that thru-bolt style mounting and may ...

The Difference Between Men And Women

The Difference Between Men And Women. This Is Genius. Let's say a guy named Fred is attracted to a woman named Martha. He asks her out to a movie; she accepts; they have a pretty good time. A few nights later he asks her out to dinner, and again they enjoy themselves. They continue to see each other...

Re: wiper blades

If you are saying that you want to keep the stainless blade-holders, replacement refills are getting tough to find, I bought a set of Anco blades--disassembled them and cut them down to fit.

Not sure what the Econo used but If its the same as the Fairlane (with a bolt on lid) ----just use a 68. They are the same otherwise.

Re: '79 Inline 6 crank question

First off, pilot bushings are replaceable, so I'm lost as to what he is telling you. All cranks that I've ever seen have the spot for the pilot bushing, they just dont install one if its an automatic. I think I'd get a second opinion.

Yes Unc , your mammory is fading. I know I joined in Nov 2000 (had just gone to Yahoo) and there weren't many of us. I know I remember when we hit 100 members and THAT was a BIG deal. I just can't remember when that happened!

Thanks AGAIN Lance and Darrell !
