I thought the drop blockbwas for the steering arm, not the drag link. You want the steering arm on the box to be level with the truck at ride height.

A Cigarette is part of the reason my '63 was removed from the roadway. Long story.

On the brakes issue. Rubber hoses absorb water. Both from the inside and outside. They will swell and REALLY restrict the flow as well as pressure. I couldn't get my 63 to stop when I got it. I got the rear end housing painted tonight. Feels good to do something permanent to the truck.

I think you will get to 11.50 without spray. any faster and you will have to cage it!

I milked a good 4 months of work on my slick after last SS.

The biggest problem is the collar gets work out. I was able to tighten mine up by having them roll a sleeve to press into it. It was like new again.

Stick with it...they are fun and different.
