1964 F100 Rat Rod for parts & Burn-Out
1964 F100 Rat Rod for parts & Burn-Out
So I have been having trouble with the 300 six in my 66 F100 that I spent last winter working on. I decided I would look around for a 351 and an automatic transmission to replace the six three on the tree combo that I have currently. Well today I find this 64 on Craigslist the guy started a rat rod project with it and ran out of money. I am going to pull the motor and transmission for my 66 and part out the rest of the truck. It came with air bags too! I had to do a burn-out with it after we got her back to the shop.Oh ya the guy was asking $1650 after we spoke to him on the phone he said $1500 once we got there and picked the truck apart I got it for $680 and he left the half of case of beer in the bed too! LOL

Ya, it is a long bed. i will take more pictures and see if anyone is interested in parts. It has some sort of contraption under the dash on the passenger side, i don't know if it is some kind of old school AC set-up or what it is. I did a VIN check and it will only tell me the date of manufacture, location and engine size. This truck came with a 292 three speed.

here are a few pics of the 64 engine donor. After i pull the engine and transmission I think I will flat black this trick and sell it. Also Does anyone know what is under the dash on the passenger side?

Is this just a vent with a blower motor in it or some sort of under dash AC?
