the wheels are still up in the air. i would love to find a wheel that i could rock some wide whites on. but first on the list is the suspension. i need this thing close to the ground.Greg D wrote:Welcome to Slick 60s.
Not a fan of rice rockets but the S 2000 has some class - those are a true sports car.
Sounds like you have some cool plans for the Uni. I see where you are coming from but you might want consider a more traditional tire/wheel package - you might learn to like it (no offense intended). Glad to have you here and we'll be glad to help.

AutoX pics right meowmaxpower wrote:hahaha i have felt torque before. just nothing i have owned. lol the truck with the black hood is a ranger. it is the project that will never be done. it is bagged and body dropped, shaved and a ton more. the only reason for the hondas is because i got them for next to nothing. they are very reliable and the s2000 is our track car. i have to have thick skin with the style i have. i am used to it by now.
Glen I think I blew the power valve in the carb.
Gotta fix that too
Hopefully I can get to the WP plate as well
Got it from Bronde's today.
Dented a 2010 SHO while I was there

Welcome from north Idaho.
What I see more than anything else is that you are a true gear head and more than willing to do something different. That is what I perceive this group to be all about "being different" why else would we own and drive these vintage vehicles.
Back in the day I too drove a "Honda" a 1980 drove it like I was trying to kill it and it finally died after 200,000 + miles.
I currently ride a 1984 Goldwing Honda.
Keep us posted on the Slick and most of all have fun with it and make it your own.

Welcome! I like Fords, Chevys, and I realize that the Japanese cars are a hoot....just not for me. Some of the membership seems to think we should only like Fords. I like my Kawasakis more than my Harley. It's all a choice that I won't bash you for.
