It's just out of my reach (7 hours one way), but I think we have a cheap 66 ranger here. I emailed the guy to get the codes, but I thought someone closer might be able to use the parts from it or something. $400 obo you can't beat it, but it's too far for me to go get.
Cookster,
I'd say so!...... what are you, only about 60-65 miles away, right?
That ol' Girl looks to me like a RatRod waiting to have life breathed back into her!
Sell off the Ranger seats and console and use the $$ to put her back on the road!
wow-- right in my backyard...except my backyard already has a rusty Uni in it... Larry, let me know if you can get down here during daylight hours-- maybe Sinc and I can go look at it if anyone is interested...
I am thinking maybe the seats, seat risers, and console are worth the asking price, everything after that is a bonus, but there doesn't seem to be that much after that LOL
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
A little soap and water and some elbow grease and that will Buff right out!
JC, I believe your are right seats and console plus all of the small parts that could be salvaged of the truck should more than be worth the $400.00 OBO price. I would bet that if you show the owner a couple of portraits of presidents past you could own that project.
As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.
$100 - $200 for a pair of rebuild able Mustang seat frames - gotta be worth a few more bucks with the F series part # tag.
Restorable? with the right $, time, & tools but what isn't don't know if I say easy. Even that is a matter of perspective.
1964 F 100 - I am going to do "something" with it.......
the owner did say OBO.
I got the original photos and photo of the ID tag.
looks like you could dump the bed in favor of a rack style, keep the cab, and replace the fenders

I agree then one could swap out the buckets and console into a better slick. Put the bench seat into this one and use it as a farm/utility/rough use truck. Or sell it to recoup the money spent on it. If it were local to me I know part of what I would be giving my son for a Christmas present.

I'd like to find a tool box like that one has in the bed.... Haven't seen one around here in a long time.. After what I fixed, that one doesn't look too bad....

I'd agree with that.
Seeings as you have work slick and Silvia now done - go get er - you have one to drive so you won't mind taking your time on it.
Sylvia still needs front end improvements, the OD trans & interior work. I'm hoping in about a year I'll be starting another project, I just don't know what. Maybe a 300 powered rat rod roadster.
