Dallas and Ft. Worth Area members meet and greet???

Post by Brian Taylor »

For any of you in the area I am trying to put together a meet and greet.
Anyone interested I would like to know your availability weekends AM PM so I can find a nice place to get together. From the responses and locations I will try and find a central place to meet restaurant, drive in, local cruise or members shop.
Please respond to this post or email me or ,for those of you I have already annoyed, call. Let me know any ideas for a time and place are welcome.

Yeah, same here. If you come up with something let me know. I'm in the process of doing a lot of work to my truck right now, but don't figure it'll take more than a weekend or so worth of work to get it all done. I'd love to check out some of the rest of ya'll's truck just to see how far off mine is! LOL

I know a lot of the Texas members, along with a few from other states as well, will be in Fort Worth for the Pate swap meet at the end of April.

I am still going to shoot for sometime in March.
One idea was to meet at a local cruise on a saturday good food and more
Second idea was a park with parking and shelter, many to choose in DFW
Third idea is still bouncing in my head :?

Hello, Brian and those from southwest area,

I don't post here but sometimes check to see what's up on this site.

I always go to Pate, but also might like to attend meet and greet.

BTW, I live in N. Dallas area.

I would like to come but will have to drive my 66 Mustang. I just pulled the engine from my slick getting ready for the full restoration.
You know, they have that cruise every Friday night at Little Rd and I-20 in Arlington.

Hey, everyone can come to my FYIFORD FORUM bash that I hold every year. This year it will be Sept 4 at Cedar Hill State Park on Lake Joe Pool. Free burgers and drinks, plus we have alot of fun. The guys from the forum travel all across the country to attend these. I think it is appropriate for the slicks to show up as well as the Mustangs. Mark your calendars!

Hey Brian, that would be great. How about Cedar Hill State Park? That's a great park but they charge an admission fee.

I could probably talk to the park and set up to get the members in at no cost. It is a bit south for a lot of them but yes it is a great location with the lake and picnic grounds.
I like the idea of the cruise on Friday off 20 and Little road. I have been there and it is always a good turn out and a great mix of rides. I go to it as often as possible.

http://www.cedarhillstatepark.org/ 265 miles from Houston about a 4 hr drive

Looks like $5/per day per person, but that's not bad if they keep the park up.

Let us know Brian! Thanks!
