Factory Brake Booster??

Post by onemisledyuth »

I had a 1965 F100 Custom Cab long bed in the shop today (Arizona Auto Care, 5235 S Kyrene #42, Tempe, AZ 85283 in case anyone was wondering)
Anyways.....
The master cylinder was bleeding thru, and low and behold, it has a booster on it. The truck was definitely stock, but it had a booster. Had to be stock...had drums on all wheels.

Just curious if anyone else has this, or has seen it.

Thx.

The 65 and 66 did have an option for power brakes. All have the single pot master cylinder.

Time to upgrade to a dual master.

http://shop.oreillyauto.com/ProductList ... Brake+Unit

Here is the correct boster. Make sure the bracket is removed and reused.

Use a later truck master for PDB Like this one

Re plumb the lines and be safe.
