Another Slick saved from the crusher!

Post by notdunyet »

I'm so happy tonite! Just finalized a deal for a 65 f250 Camper Special. Orig. owner, 352 4 spd., Dana rear. Interior is near perfect, with a totally intact headliner, even! Body has rough spots, but is a goldmine for parts for my 65 f100. Plan to get it home, get it running, (ran great 2 yrs. ago), then probably part it. The old man even has the beautiful orig. owners manual. I'm pumped! $300 bucks did the trick. Would post pics, but I just can't figure it out... grrr! Anyway, the owners son wants saved what can be saved, and was eager to save it from the crusher. I'm happy to oblige! Dave

Glad you saved another Slick.

For pics it's best to load into photobucket. Then highlight the bottom code next press the control button & the letter c at the same time. go to your posting in Slick 60's and press control & the letter v at the same time, it will now show in your post.

Thanks, guys. I'll try the pic thing again. I guess i'm just a wee bit computer illiterate.... sometimes i miss my old IBM Selectric! Ha! Tom, a few weeks ago I was on vacation, and was up in the U.P. I cruised up to the Soo, then over to Munising. I hadn't been up there since I was a kid. Forgot how beautiful it was! Thanks again for the info.
