where are all you guys getting your u-bolts for your 61-64 trucks i can get the back at work but i cant find the front anywhere but lmc and i cant justifie paying 59 dollars and some change plus shipping just for 4 ubolts. any help would be greatly appreciated

Suspension shop can make 'em too, and give you those longer nuts for them.

yea a local shop can bend me what i need for 17 dollars a piece. i checked with oreily's and they wouldnt let me look through theres their not very friendly here kinda like a troll under a bridge. and ezer if its like any other parts i ordered from them they wont fit or are cheaply built bought new kick panels from them for my uni very poorly bent and needed lots of mods to make work and look clean again and they didnt want to do anything about it i can order the rear through work we do alot of lift kits and they also have the bigger NUTS but for the midget front ones no luck i'll try to check a few more places might just have to fine some certifed used ones from members here

Here are some different sources.. Just measure what you already have and they will make. might give your self a little extra length or as MAX said longer nuts :D

I got 4 u bolts for the rear springs on my 64 and they were under $20 for all four with nuts. Check with a local parts house or if you have a shop that works on Semis check them out also.

rear u bolts are always cheaper because they are easier to make.

the front are square and take more time and 2 bends.

see i dont have any to measure mine was was rusted and broke when i took themoff when i put monos on now that sold my monos i had measurement from 62galaxie but i lost the paper i had wrote them down on

This is not always the case. It depends on the u-bolt bending machine is being used.

Many years ago, I worked at Wertz Alignment Shop in Springfield, IL and the u-bolt bending machine there will bend up to 1" stock in round, 1/4 round and square top configuration with one bend. It is quite a machine and still in use, I believe.

old trucks if memory serves me right those are similar i can measure the holes in the axle and get a number for you but i have no idea on how long they're suppose to be
