Any Snap on/Mac/Matco Tool salesmen out there

Post by thrush544 »

Hi Everyone,
Are any of you or your family involved in tool sales for Snap-on, Matco, or Mac? If so, could you pass on a little insight and let me know what you think of it? I am looking into it but would like some honest feedback before I go too far.

Thanks & God Bless,
Ed

Those poor guys are getting hammered with no/slow pay right now. Check with your local new car dealerships. I would bet most techs aren't getting close to their 40 hours. If you can absolutely steal a deal and can afford to hang in for good times to come then it's a good living.

Best of luck,

Tom

I know when it comes to tools we go out of our way to buy from the Snap On Truck or Mac Tool Truck since we put them through the test and don't mind spending the extra money,, but like Tom says times are tough at dealerships so some are careful on what they buy,, it's a game of chance and might have to chase some down to pay,, me I always have to chase the trucks to get good tools Good Luck
