that is cool my best friend had a 59 back in high school, his was original but in 1 million pieces he passed on many years back :( cool cars for sure that one would be insane to really try to drive, prob wont ever have the opportunity to open that engine up to its full potential

The Healeys are sports cars, why put in an engine that weighs more than the car and then expect it to handle? A hot EFI V6 woulda been my choice or a Windsor V8 at the most. Is very nicely done though.

A 6" driveshaft? Had to narrow the front rims so they wouldn't hit the valve covers when turning? 500 horsepower in a 2600 lb car?

I bet if he flicked his big toe on the throttle, it would do 6 tire-roasting donuts before his reflexes could lift off the throttle again! :rotflmao: That's too cool.

haha hell. I agree with slick fan.... the more power you can cram into a tiny car, the better.... heeheehee... That thing is SO SICK. ludicris? hell yes. that's what makes it so great...
'63 with 390 & lots of juice. But never enough. Always want more.

my uncle had a 61 sprite I was trying to get him to put a 289 in it. I guess some guys "enjoy" 38 HP. :roll:
