Interesting Writing inside door of junked 66 F-100

Post by 1966Mercury »

This is a close up shot of the inside of a right front door of a 66 in a local wrecking yard. When I took off the door panel cover I saw this inside. It looks like someone took their finger and wrote in the wet paint inside the door. The rest of the inside of the door has even overspray and no indication of the door being replaced or repainted. The door matches the rest of the truck. The dirt on the inside is even all over, so it seems like it has been there a long time. There is even some rust coming through the writing like the rest of the door interior. Just wondering if anyone has run into this before. Maybe someone at the factory was in a good mood that day and signed their work.

If I got lucky with 3 chicks at once, I'd write my name in wet paint too! :dancing:
