Would you happen to have pics of a USAF version? I swear I had a picture of a slick on the runway as an XB-70 taxied by. Ive even been thinking of putting a NASA "meatball" and a NASA s/n on my truck circa 1966.
Love the vintage photos, we should consider starting a seperate forum thread dedicated to vintage/historical shots fron the 60s when these were new. I love history as much as i love slicks, we should combine the two.

1/2 ton shortbed flaresides (stepsides) were very popular too.

Great photos! Amazing lack of mirror size on the Army semi tractors. San Diego Gas and Electric had a lot of F-600 4x4 trucks and tractors that looked similar but were bright yellow.
I still have the residue of the GI F-350 Flat bed so please keep posting photos as they surface. Good motivation!
