Radiator
I have a 64 f 100 With a 460 in it. It has 11 to 1 compression with a big solid roller cam. My question is I have two radiators. One is from a 61 f 350 but is only a two row and I have one from a 66 f 100 thats is a 3 row. Not sure which to use if ether. I thought about recore the 61 radiator with a 4 row if I can get a core that big. Whats you guys thoughts on this? Where can I get a core that big?

Why not go with a universal alum radiator might even do a triple pass? I run in the universal alum in my trucks. My 64 has a 460 (not as big as your motor but)... Just a thought and a couple of custom brackets.

The radiator mounting for a '64 and a '65 is the same; the flanges on the radiator bolt to some supports that jut out from the core support.
I have some pictures in my gallery comparing '65 and '66 radiators, so you should be able to tell if a '65 is close to a '64.
For my '66's radiator, I asked for one from Advance Auto for a '76 F-250 with a 460. It fit my '66 perfectly, is aluminum, and best of all, has bolt-on support brackets that can be switched left to right.
I am betting you can get the same one, switch the brackets on the radiator and it will bolt right up.

The last few I got were at the Pate (swap) $130ish bucks... you just need an universal so look around on the racing parts type of places like speedway. They do have the expensive brands but they have the no name ones as well. I will looked later to see what I can find for you.

If price is an issue go alluminum.
I recored my fat top two years ago and it cost me over 750.00. Copper has gone through the roof. and radiator shops the way of hens teeth. That makes radiator repair up there with gold jewlery.

It does not matter what you think, it only matters what you do about it!

Go aluminum. We buy them for $159 or so all the time. Can go up to 31" wide and they are usually 19" tall. Don't get one with a cooler built in (more work for the radiator to cool). Also stay with a single pass. If you go to a double or tripple pass, you need to be very careful with pump speed. The single pass, 2 core, basic aluminum radiator will do fine. Do step up to a billet neck, not a stamped one.
I cooled a 735hp motor on our dirt late model with a single pass 26" without problems.

I put one out of a 79 f-100 with a 460 in mine. It fit except had to trim the front crossmember. I put a fatman Mustang II crossmember in mine so it should be fine.
If you go with the alum one holler back so we all know how much it cost and how well it does. I like the looks of those for sure. If you want pics of mine just PM me your cell # or email and I can send you some. I dont have have account where I can post pics here.
