i mix 67/33, my tester said was good to -84F

a few years ago a friend of mine was in Russia doing some oilfield work said lot of people use diesel fuel in the radiators as anti-freeze is not so readily available and costs a lot more

Wow, never heard of that! Very innovative use of resources.

I've definitely got it closer to 70/30 now and filled to capacity. I managed to drain some of the coolant out and replaced it with straight antifreeze. I think my tester tops out at -43 F though!

i have used diesel to unhook frozen fifth wheels. when that grease gets thick it don't want to move.
