90's aluminum rims on a slick?
Does anybody have a pic of the 90's era stock f-150 aluminum rims on a slick? These are what I'm thinking about picking up...

no they are eagle alloy alcoa style wheels
Re: 90's aluminum rims on a slick?
We picked up a set of those for Shep with nearly new tires. They fit great.

Re: 90's aluminum rims on a slick?
I have some 235/75r15 i can put on...just wasn't sure how they would look
Phil
Re: 90's aluminum rims on a slick?
You know what - I think that's what those are... 235/75/15.
FWIW, I put 255/70-15 BFG-TA's on Alice ('65 Shortbed) with the stock suspension and 15x7's and had no rubbing issues:

Re: 90's aluminum rims on a slick?
I'm running 255/70/15 with the factory Bronco 10-holes on my uni with no problems. I've got 235/75/15 on mid-90's factory steel wheels on my long-bed with later-model suspension and rear end, also with no problems. I want to put 10'' wide aftermarket 8-holes on it, but will have to have nearly a FWD offset, or go back to the original width rear end.

Re: 90's aluminum rims on a slick?
This comment from Jason also has me thinking, cuz I need to pick up lug nuts...what size and type of nut have you all used on these wheels, and/or what looked best with the wheel?jwh f-100 wrote:Careful with the stud length and/or typr of lug..
