Nubi member introducing myself

Post by 390fastback »

Hey guys, been trolling here for a while, getting answers to questions I didn't have to ask and ideas I never would have thought have! Current heap in the shop is a 62 Unibody shorty. CV swap, axel flip and notch, LOTS of structural sheet metal repair/replacement, but I refuse to do body work. Its only original once and its not that bad. But the saskatchewan road salt did take its toll over the years. I'll be starting a build thread in projects soon enough, just may take a while as I have 100's of pics to sort through so far.

I'm almost at the point of installing the 4.6, so I'll be picking brains about the wiring, and other misc tricks to make it all work.

I'm no stranger to restorations either. I've also got a 68 Mustang Fastback I finished about a year ago, a 71 Mach that I've done all the structural sheet metal and mechanical (this was supposed be this winters project but I bought the 62!), theres also a 67 M250 4x4 in the queue also. Plus a couple others not really worth mentioning, off brand and all.

Anyway, looking forward to sharing and learning!

This was after the axle flip front and back. Way to much of a handful to drive after that!!

Here it is as of a couple days ago

Got the frame painted last night, well enough to get the suspension back on anyway....
