The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

got another truck.....

Post by f100fordguy »

Well I cant seem to buy a slick, but I picked up a family herloom from Katies grandpa. He was going to scrap out his 70 f-250 4x4 and plow so I had to buy it. They owned it since the early 80s. I will post pick if I can figure it out. Got some shiny parts for the y block for christmas too 8)

Skipping right over from Fridge to Bump.
I bet if the right truck showed up you'd be telling us you bought a Slick.
I am going to head over to the next town over one of these short days - found a bump crew cab that is just sitting.
I can't tell the year - can't see the grill from the road. It's a base model.
And it's Turquoise!
Saw a bump 250 crew 4x4 with a short flareside box in Wichita yesterday - it was F ing cool!

Is there a law stating how many vehicles a person may own?
As long as the ones outside run, drive, and are registered (and maybe insured?) for them to tell you can only have a certain number of vehicles violates your rights on a ridiculous amount of levels.

Having "too many vehicles" (registered) shouldn't be against the law, but, as the sheriff in the Clint Eastwood movie "Any which way you can" said to the biker gang: "Boys, you violate the laws of nature, but we don't enforce those laws"
