Hello, Just curious if anyone has used the speedway front disc brake set-up while still using factory 16" steel wheels? I was looking at ordering them and just wanted to be sure my wheels would still work.

I have the speedway kit but I am using 80's ford wheels..

Rick, the stock wheels from back then sometimes don't have enough clearance
behind them for a caliper. The "step" on the back side of the rim usually comes in contact
with the caliper on the 15 inch stock wheels. 16 inch wheels may be ok, but you will just
have to bolt them on and see. Never tried 16s myself since I didn't have them. We used
some aftermarket wheels intended to be used with disc brakes. TR
