I'd definitely be more than happy to park that baby in my garage...and practice 'wax-on/wax-off' techniques.

The only thing I'd change if it were mine, would be a tad smaller rim size & I'd lose the marine style battery box. Otherwise, it's perfection!

I am not a big fan of oversize wheels, but this truck is just;

Yeah the oversize wheels suck, but otherwise a sweet uni.

No on 2nd thought I think I like the wheels, 18 and 20s I am guessing, freaking perfect.

I know this is an OLD thread but any idea the backspacing and width on these rear wheels? I am guessing they are about 8 inches because they do not look very wide and to achieve that deep dish to fit in there you would need very little backspacing and skinny wheel to have most of the wheel to the outside like that...???
Thanks for any info on this. Also any info on the suspension. Looks like MII to get it that low but I may use my dream beams and cut a coil off my springs since I have too much positive camber as it is.

Heavy, that is a very nice ride. Invite him here!
Can't say one bad thing about it, but I wouldn't have used those wheels. I like them but so do ALOT of other people if you get my meaning.
I am sure if any of us tried hard enough at least up close we could find a flaw in about any truck. Even if just for the fact that if it was ours we would have done something different. I am sure there will plenty of things someone would have changed on mine when it's done too. "I" will be happy with it though (or won't stop until I am).

I dig the look. I like the larger rims on the back. I really like the fact that the aspect ratio on the tires front and back appear to be close. I don't like it when two rims sizes are used and the side wall on the rear tires are thinner than the front tires. It looks weird to me.

me and that guy has same taste! mine is going to be exactly like that gm indingo blue with 17" thque thrust wheele except my grille is going to be wimbleton white glad i got to see what mine is going to look like done

Wow, back from the dead thread.
I spotted this truck in Detroit at the Gratiot cuise 5 years ago.
I knew nothing about 60s trucks when I saw it other than this one was visually a kick in the groin. I couldn't stop staring at it.
I didn't even realize it was a unibody until the guy pointed it out

I will find it again and take measurements and pics under it if it kills me.
I want to know the wheel stuff too.

Here is the stuff the guy mentioned:
it was still a strait axle.
He said it rode fine.

Also said he fit an 11" wide wheel with no mods to the tubs.
Not sure if that was tire included or not.

He did say the dia but I just can't remember it.

It had a tweed 92 F 150 seat in it too.

sweet looking, but looks like he kinda took a short cut or ran outa money on that grill.
my slick has 31x10.5's for shoes and they never rub. then agin i ride a bit higher. truck aint a truck if it dont have no more clearance then a car. for the life of me i can not figure why any one would go and lower a truck' when i become dictator of america and after i conquer canada which wont take but a day or two my next act of cleansing the world will be making it a crime and only lifting shall be allowed
