Lot's Of Low Hanging Fruit. I Saw A Couple Nice Sets Of Windshield & Dash Trim. A Few Short Beds That Looked Okay And A Nice Tool Box On One Of The Beds. I Rat Holed A Couple Sets Of Headlight Bezels. I Plan On Going Back In A Couple Weeks To Really Search The Place.. Image Image Image Image Image Image

I Have To Admit It Was A Bit Overwhelming, So Much Stuff. My Plan Was To Get In And Get What I Was Looking For, Then Haul Ass Back To Topeka Take A Shower Then Head To Ottawa. I Wanted To Check Out Greybeards Headliners & Visit With Ezer. By The Time I Ate Lunch & Showered My Back Was Locked-Up From Crawling Around Under That 64' And Climbing Over The Piles Of Trucks! :x Next Time I Can Relax & Really Get A Good Look At What All Is There. I Know What You Mean Though. Most Yards Have Crushed The Good Steel Long Ago :(

wow, an hour and a half! I'm impressed. I can really appreciate how difficult it is to get those parts just cause you can see em doesn't mean they are easy to get to. Been there done that.

Chiggers, snakes, mosquites and an occasional wad of dried bloody hair in the busted windshield!

If you want to share that location I would be interested in a trip there too?

Chris, Graybeard is out of the Tulsa area and came up for Ol' Marais. They will also be at the Ark City, KS show next week.

How were the prices? There's a yard not too far from me, but the prices on individual pieces (esp trim, etc) were crazy high. Would almost be cheaper to buy an entire truck.

I agree. This guy wanted (for example) $250 for the door trim pieces and the chrome dash pieces. The sad thing is that there's not that many folks in this area who would be interested and these trucks will probably all be crushed in the not too distant future. He had already sent all the old Chevy iron to the crusher.

WE'RE SORT OF LOCAL, 127 MILES SOUTH DOWN HWY 169 THEN, 10 MILES WEST ON OKLA HWY 20 WEST. WE DON'T MIND HAVING STOP BUY PURCHASES, I SURE DON'T MIND NOT PACKAGING THOSE HEADLINERS. OL' MARIAS what a beautiful park! It's a great Rod Run, we'll be back.
EZER, Wish you would have introduced yourself, I met a ton of folks passsed out half a box of cards.
My pick of the run, a orange 40' panel truck, I've had one of those on a back burner for about six years now!
If you can't run with the big dogs "STAY UNDER THE PORCH" !!!!!
