A local Tractor Supply had the auto darkening helmets on sale last week super cheap! I wish had noted if they were Hobarts; I just assumed they were a duplicate of the HF's.

Justin next time your up around Louisville plan an extra hour or so and bring your HF hood with you :D. I'll let ya play with the Hobart and the Miller and the HF side by side I'll bet ya go home either planning top buy a Hobart or a Miller :D.

Looking much better :D. I know it takes more time to do the tack tack tack bit but it takes a lot less cleanup and rework which makes up for the extra time :D.

Had time today to do a little more, test fitted the fender and support, put in self tapping screws for the spot welds, and filled in the remaining gap. after first fitting I found that the curve on the inner fender did not match the outer fender, so a little hammerring and bending I think I have it close enough, next I will clean all paint and rust of the support and where it attaches to the inner fender then por 15, spot weld, then clean and por 15 entire inner fender, body filler then another coat of por 15.

Thanks for the pictures. I have to do the exact same repair on mine just down the eastern shore from you in MD! You're making good progress. I'm still peeling the onion on mine to see what hidden surprises I have to fix.
