Thinking about getting a set of the LED 1157 bulbs, anyone used these. The Chinese Sylvania bulbs last for about ten minutes of driving the 350 around town.

Got 'em on several of my vehicles. I don't now the brand; they came from a local computer supply house. I like them, other than they don't seem to give the same purplish hue thru the Blue Dot lenses.

I get my led bulbs from "superbrightleds.com". They even have a 1157 that gives extra flashes of the brake lights when applied.

Do you need a special flasher for LED bulbs?

If you have a heavy duty flasher, it will probably work fine. The HD flashers are usually used for trailer hook-ups. LEDs pull much less power, thus the standard duty flasher won't flash.
