I looked pretty hard at a Model A closed cab '30 pickup that was really nice. Just no room in them. That's why we are headed towards the '37 sedan. Room for us, the grandkids, a cat, a dog and food for the week.
Always wanted an Anglia, too. Have a real good friend that got in my face once and told me "you can't sit 2 real adults wearing cowboy hats side by side in an Anglia, don't ever get one". I reminded him I don't even own a cowboy hat. With a straight face, and being totally serious, he added, "I'm just trying to make your life easier if you ever decide to buy a cowboy hat". When I think back on it, it really was good advice. Strange, but good. That's how I now judge interior room and I still don't own a cowboy hat.

lowell, sit in one now a days and see where you are at. things tend to get smaller or more cramped with age.

Re: 1929 model a
They are a whole lot smaller than you think but you just get used to it. you learn how you don't feel as cramped in it eventually. Average height of a person in the 20s was about 5 foot 6. That's why they're a little cramped now It is a pretty clean coupe for under 6

Your friend stole that car. A Dentist who lived across the street from us had a 29 2 door sedan that I rode in on several occasions. Would loved to have had it, but his daughter got it when she graduated high school. Seems like it was pretty roomy, but then I was about 10 years old then so.....TR

Re: 1929 model a
A Model "A" is small inside. No bigger than Beth and I are, we sit shoulder to shoulder in ours.
That new frame looks nice.
He should have come out here and bought my 29 Sedan Delivery. It is complete ad ready to go.
I have decided that I think that it is time to let mine go.
What are his plans on this car? Monster race engine or just a driver?
