Wheel spacer install with stock wheels (photos)

So after by drop axle and disc brake install, I wasn't real happy with the stance of the truck. I want to keep the old school wheel look with the bottle caps and skinnier tires (for now) but didn't like how narrow it looked. I ordered some 1.25" wheel spacers and here is how she turned out. The photos probably don't do it justice but I like the difference. I also noticed a little difference in less body roll while driving too.

I had the same problem with my '64. I almost went the same route with 2 inch spacers. Your truck looks great!

By adding the 1.25" spacers, did you had to go to longer lug studs or not?

By using the spacers and extending the wheels outward, doesn't that in effect add to the wheel offset and put added stress on the wheel bearings?

Sorry for the late response. I've been busy with work. The 1.25 spacers came with studs attached to the spacer. In other words, I bolted the spacers on then bolted the wheel to the spacer. I'm not sure about the extra stress on the wheel bearings.

2" or less does not affect the wheel bearings much.
