I'm hoping some new wheels & tires are the shot in the arm that I need to get back at my Slick... pardon me for the dusty truck and messy workbench:
In case anyone wants to know the specifics, the wheels are Pro Comp Series 1069 in wheel size 15x10 with a -46mm offset/3.625" backspacing and have a polished finish. The tires are Cooper Discoverer AT3's in size 33X12.50R15LT.
Did you change your springs? I know your truck already appeared higher than stock. I was unable to fit the 33x10's due to rubbing on the inner fender on hard turns with the standard zero offset wheels, but yours looks considerably higher than most of the '66 F100 4x4s.

I can't say for sure Paul. I know I haven't personally changed the springs or lifted the truck at all, and I bought it from the previous owner's widow who didn't have that kind of information. I believe this subject has come up before about my truck and I believe there have been opinions on both sides. I can tell you that even with wheels that came with the truck which had less negative offset, I have never had any issues rubbing on the inner fenders.
I actually had it out for a roll on Friday night. I got my rockers adjusted the night before and took it for a wash and some fresh petrol. The new wheels and tires feel great... i gave the rear ones a couple good rotations just for good measure!

It is always good to get some fresh petrol into the tank. Although kinda pricey, you are probably lucky in that you've got 100% gasoline up there in Canadaland, ay?
