Where my Uni is headed.......

Post by Greg D »

Colors are Chrysler Brite White & Carribean Turquoise, with a red pinstripe. Wheels will be American Racing Rodmasters or similar. This is a rough draft I'll post a better one when it's done but you kinda get the idea.

Actually that helps Phil, I just have not been able to picture those wheels on the truck.

I'd run em. Slotted mags are now #2 on my favorite wheel choice list.

Yeah, I dig the salt flats on the truck. I'd match the gray in them with the nose gray as much as you can.

Edit: I see American calls those wheels Rodmasters. Must be some other co. that calls them salt flats.

Those rims would definitely go hand in hand with that paint job! :thumright:

If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

One advantage to running Salt Flats that I won't have with Rodmasters. I can run 15"s on the front and 17"s on the rear. Rodmasters only come in 15".

paint job

 Greg, love the scallops!
Also your color choices will pop! I like seeing stuff like that on a slick. Street rods aren't supposed to have all the fun. I am looking forward to seeing your truck all painted up in KC. TR

Keeping in mind I am also gonna use it as a truck and drive it in the winter. I sometimes think of not going that far with it too. Nice set of spoke wheels & 70s front / big all terrains on the back, new paint (same colors stock scheme) and just drive it. Save the cool & $ for the next project. Still thinking...........
