My Uni on craigs list

Post by 62 UNI »

Well........as much as I love my 62 UNI..........I've listed it for sale on the Atlanta Craigs List for sale...... $6,000.00

I know....... save the bashing........I've come across my ultimate, all time favorite replacement truck.......a 1938 ford (see staying true blue) with flathead V8 & 3 spd. Considered a ugly duckling by most.....I really dig the round eggshell grille. The cabs have ample room & suspension mods are easy enough.

Unfortuneately I can not add another toy to the collection without thinning the herd.......

If anyone is interested or knows of a serious interested party please email me at regan1008@bellsouth.net or pm me here. I've got more pix & info if needed.

The one I've been waiting on is ALL stock .......but a lowering of suspension & possibly the lid will be in the future.

I hope this guy does NOT back out.

Now that is a cool 38! And yeah, I am one of the many that think of them as ugly ducklings. Actually it's just the grill I despise. I almost vomit when I see a Model A Hotrod or some other fenderless rod with a '38 truck grill on them. This is just my opinion of course! :D

I like them, but I pretty much like em all to a certain degree. Would love a 35 pickup! Or a 30 or a 32 or a 48-49 and maybe even a 53...

I love all Ford pickups, 1925 to now, I just love some MORE.
the 37s, and the 38/39's with their oval grilles are fine with me, but I go apesh!t over the 40-41's. Never has there been a finer looking truck , before, since or in between IMO. and , the 40-41's have a lot in common with the 38/39's. Same box same tailgate same cab same engine same running gear. There is nothing in the whole world that makes me madder than seeing a SBC in a 40/41 Ford, the ultimate desicration IMO, with the possible exception of a Deuce. So I get where yer coming from dude. Jest keep 'er all ford and we're buds for life. :D
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

I'll admit to the same feeling. Like I think it's gonna take me another 10 years before I ever come around to actually liking the front end on the current Super Duty's...but it'll probably happen one day.

So, 62Uni...when do we get to see some pics of your latest possible purchase? And where's the Craigslist ad link, so we can bash it? (kidding) :D

Thanks for all the input........craigs list is ATLANTA but the NEW OWNER came by this eve to take a spin & drop off a cash deposit. Truck will transfer over on Sat. morning.

I got what I was asking cause the truck is nice, clean & a driver.

As soon as my replacement is in.......I'll post a pic.

Don't think I've turned my back on the community......I just added to it...I will miss that truck.
