What I want to know is, how fast was that dude moving? He had to be moving at a pretty good clip for that to happen. Obviously he was going too fast for the conditions, or the fire wall on the new jeeps are made of paper
Cheers,

I've heard that vehicle ownership can sometimes give you wood, but that's pushing it. :P

dumb@ss (driver), cheap@ss (new vehicle)
those projectiles are called spears and will do exactly that.
ran brush buggys for years with only roll cages thru terrain just like that. pay attention and you might not get speared. everything we built and ran had a nice thick floorpan though.i landed on many stumps and rocks without any ever coming thru.

I found the post written by the actual person on one of the 4x4 forums I belong to. He got hurt pretty bad but will be OK. He had some internal bleeding, damaged a kidney and his bowl that will need to be opperated on again and he took a pretty serious shot to his "boys"

That sucks. No matter how weak his ride may have been, I wouldn't wish that sort of injury on anyone. :?

Jeep plant is about 7 miles from me.
I found this post on my local car forum.

This was the response from a couple guys on there:
