Because I'd be on my way to Maryland tomorrow, I love this car! :D
It's a good thing it's not a black (or red) 4-speed, or I might not be able to control myself...

Nice Torino 8) Is that a good buy or is he trying to make money off B-J auctions. Time will tell. Hope mine turns out that nice.

I had no idea there were 72 CJ's learn something new every day. And I used to spend EVERY saturday in 70-71-72 in a Ford showroom when I was a kid. Nice car!
I would take that black Cyclone Hauler posted over it tho.. love that body style.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

I had a plain jane 72 torino best "car" I ever had. Would grab another one if it presented itself. It was the 2 door hard top.

It probably is. :iagree:

Trying to get 72's with buckets & a console is rare in itself. However, this has to be even MORE rare...factory Ram Air.
I've seen two over the years, this one on a Ranchero GT...

I had 2 72 Gran Torino Sports when I was in High school. First one had a 351W in it but the second had a 351CJ. What an awesome car!. It is the reason I have a 351 Cleveland in my 56 panel truck and a couple spares in the barn. I schooled a few Mopars and Chebbys in those days.
I have 2 hoods with scoops from these cars that I would LOVE to have added to my Slick hood. Just hasn't been a priority.

Truckfarmer I added the scoop to my 79 Bronco hood it looked sharp. I have a spare hood that I might put on a 79 F150 4x4 I'm redoing now. :D

For sure a pretty one. My good buddy Mike McPhillips has been flipping some amazing Grans over the last 4 years since he sold his pride and joy. I should keep the pics he has put up over the last few years. He had an amazing 30K wimbledon white Nebraska Ranchero with an original 429 in it. A very clean car.

He's selling this 73 next

Man, that maroon one is just a beauty! That's exactly what I'm looking for...the color, the interior & a 4-speed. :D

I snagged a hood for $50 from a yard sale in about 1991 or so...figured that would be a good way to get a car, one piece at a time. Except the rest of the car has been pretty elusive.
My wife likes to give me crap for having parts to cars I've never owned.
