4 spoke horn button assembly

Post by ICEMAN6166 »

heres a pic of the 4 spoke horn button i was able to find without going thru lots of snow and looking in my bus.
guess there is some plastic on it, just not like the 3 spoke type

top view
there are 2 kinds this one and a gear/lightning bolt style. both are identical except the logo.

assembly left to right , top plate and screws, center plate with plastic bushings, rubber donut, and faceplate with plastic that the screws go into.this part is bonded to the metal.

you cannot buy these or the parts other than salvage or evilbay maybe.

Iceman,

My horn assembly is completely missing from my steering wheel. As I'm not familiar with what parts go with what years, do you know if this is the style I need to look for? (64 F250)

the pics above are for the 4 spoke wheel on f350, f500 and 4x4s
the 64 f250 has a 3 spoke wheel.the horn button is slightly different but i have some and can take pics later.
