HORN Removal?!

Post by samdog66 »

My horn is dead. '66 F100. I unbolted it from the radiator support.(that was the easy part) I cannot get it out ! Do I have to remove my grill to get the s.o.b. out? Does anyone have any tricks or ideas how to replace this thing without removing the grill? I removed & reinstalled the grill over the winter to paint it. I was hoping not to have to do it again.(PIA)
Thanks.

Probably easier to go through the rad opening. I added another horn to mine and just snuck it down between the grille and core support but it's not an original Ford horn.
