Well guys, I will be at he Veterans Day Parade this Saturday in downtown Houston and I'd love to see some of you there with me.
I appreciate, love, and admire all the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice so us slackers can play with trucks and what ever else we feel the need to do on this day.
You guys do what ever you think is appropriate to say "thank you" for our vets this weekend.
Even go drink a few beers in their honor.
I can assure you all of them would appreciate that.
Special shout out to Sgt's Ben Jordan and Dane Rowtan. Sgt. Jourdan was a personal friend who just passed with cancer. He was a Bronze Star winner as are others I know personally.
Sgt Rowtan is just a personal friend and he doesn't need special props from me. His friends know what he is all about.
Uh-rah gentlemen, I know its a Marine Corps saying, but regardless of service affiliation, you are all my hero's. You weren't Marines, but you could have been. God bless you all.
U@ss
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

God bless all vets that made 'er thru, and especially the ones that didn't.
I usually lift a few at the Legion, in honor of my father-in law, 3 uncles, grandpa and dad's grandpa on what is called Rememberance day, here in the Great White North.
However, this Sat. I will be retrieving the hulk that will soon be my daughter's car.
So hoist one for me too.

JC
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

FWIW. . . .
I'm tugging aircraft, for our Vetrans' Day weekend "Fleet Week" events display. Setting up a Hangar for the Hangar Dance tonite with a 16 piece Live, 40s Swing, (actually all around commercial 40s') Band. Preparing for our "Vets Day Parade" Sat' and Dinner Sat Night at Molly Mallones Pub & for the DNAS Museums' open house all this weekend. It's a lot of work.
Matter o' fact, we've been working hard all week on these projects. But as hard as I work, tough as it may seem, as I struggle home in the dark after a full day, with all the aches & pains of honest labor, it's nothing in comparison to what OUR dedicated US Military has been & is now doing to keep OUR security, order and freedom here in the USA that allows me & us to do it every year, again and again.

What it takes to make our Celebration happen is actually a Pleasure I'll do as long as I am able for the Military I Honor, thank, and for those who serve which I love and respect. Again I salute and Thank you ALL.

Have an honorable VETRANS DAY Sat Y'all & keep our troops in your prayers & thoughts. Without them we all would be naught !

And of course FLY NAVY

If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!
