got some more done today on the hot rod and shes moveingalong great hope to have it rolling by next week all finished up and off to get a fase lift.
just have to get it broke free and weld up the bottom on both sides and its ready for the panhard

track bar came yesterday and got it macked up today im not to happy with the bracket idea that i came up with but its the only thing that would work and keep it right . parrell with the ground and equal distance from the axle so i guess itsgoing to have to work at least it will not be seen i think its UGLY.

well its cut free and rolling, now all thats left is to make the shock tabs for the rear and th front and off to the blasters.

twisted, That looks great. Your hard work shows.

Don't get me wrong, I think it is cool but your front end still has me very curious how the wheels can move independent from each other. Even with the jonny joints at the rear it seems to me it is like opening a door then placing a block at the bottom of the door then try to push to top closed. Maybe it is just because I am a ametuer to suspension modifications.

I would love to see one front wheel on a 4x4 block or something with nothing under the other wheel. Maybe your plan is to let the rear absorb the flex.

ill post a pick of the front end articulated as much as i can before he other side lifts off the ground you'd be suprised on how much it gets

OK now I got it.

When shawn mentioned his '78 it "kicked in". I had a 79 4x4 f150 and yeah that's the same idea. I think it is a interesting setup. If someone wanted to build a open fender hot rod from a leaf spring car that would be a cool way to go.

Don't mind me, my brain is like a deisel engine... It starts hard but it does work pretty good once it's up and running.

started on ole project rust be gone today by getitng the bed floor out and gone have to get the front support made tomorrow and the rest will be fast an easy from there once thats made i can start on the sides where the rust is and it will then be gone.

sratred on the dooe still repair today, made some insteps yesterday at the shop and heres what the look like turned out pretty good i think and just waiting for the rockers and lower door pillers to come now.

cut out the rear lower pillar and going to try and make it tomorrow also marked the bed side for repair im going to wait untill the rea cab wall and the front of the bed floor are installed before i cut this out just so there is more support than i have now.
im hoping that metal will be ready for pick up tomorrow.

well finally got the metal for the bed and put the rear piece in going to do the back of the cab tomorrow and the front piece next week, so tomorrow the front and the rear will get welded up.

got the rear of the cab cut and ws going to have the filler piece put in but i ahve to cut an 1 off of it to fit right so it will be in tomorrow.

bottom of the rear cab is finished and the top just needs some grinding and its done then off to the races on the bed sides and the rest of the floor.

talk about a pain thas alot of spots on there and thats just what i was seeing last night.

the front bed floor is in and just setting there and started on the bed sides so i can get all the rot and cancer out so new metal can go in. well have picks as soon as i can make the new panels.

I really like the looks of the flat metal on the running boards and bed, but aren't you a little concerned about strength or rigidity. What guage metal are you using? At any rate it looks like you are doing a nice job. I need to get my a$$ out there and do some work to mine , but i'm to busy enjoying this oregon summer on the harley.
