The correct front bumper for 64-66 is not reproduced to my knowledge. The front bumper that is reproduced is the 67-77. This bumper will bolts on and looks similar, but the giveway is the corners. The 64-66 corners are more rounded , the 76-77 is more square.Sales brochures are a wealth of information, but be careful on the photos, many are doctored to save money from year to year. There were 2 66 brochures that show the same blue camper special on back cover. The early brochure shows truck with black rims and the later brochure shows the same truck with white rims. There was wheel color change from 65 to 66. Also, some hubcaps are silver with red ford letters and some are white with red ford letters, either one would be correct.Top of the line caps were stainless with black letters.

Hey backyardresto,About the bumper. The original owner might have put a 67-72 style bumper on to put those fog lamps on with out drilling the original bumper. The family might still have it.

That is sooooooooooooo nice!!!!!!!!!!! Love the color my favorite, and then red and white after that. What a nice original truck. Hang on to it, you probably never find another close to it.

I don't want to hijack thread. Backyard Resto posted a picture of a Camper Special add. The truck in the picture has blinkers on the fenders. Dose anyone know who made them and if they are still available?
Thank You!

I have the identical truck, just not as nice. I bought it for trim parts for my 66 4x4.

Looks pretty nice to me!

I would like to find a 65 or 66 4x4 to add to the collection. f250/350 or even a f100 4x4.

sounds like a scammer. you can flag the ad on cl and have it removed.
nice truck btw.

The fender blinkers allow people beside you to see your moving over. Very handy if you pull a trailer.

That's about what my F250 does, too. I'm thinking of doing a NV4500 5-speed swap, if I can find a decent tranny for cheap.

The turn signals are an accessory item that could be purchased from the dealer at the time for any 61-66 F series. It gives extra warning of your intentions when signaling.3000 rpm@ 60 seems kinda high for a 4.10 ratio.I am pretty sure the 4.10 was standard with the camper special package, but you can check a 65 shop manual the the codes. I have a 64 shop manual and it states code 24 is 4.56 code 25 is 4.10 and code 26 is 4.88.
