Where to get new fender bolts/nuts?

The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

Where to get new fender bolts/nuts?

Post by Gary Seymour »

Does anybody make and sell new fender bolts and nuts? The nuts are like clips and the bolts have integral washers. Also need new clip - on type nuts for the headlight covers if those are available anywhere?

I have Carpenter/LMC/Mac's/Nat'l Parts Depot catalogs. I found some chrome bolts at NPD, but havent' seen the clip - nuts.

Thanks

AuVeCo most likely sells theirs to the places where you'll find them. I browsed their website, wrote down the numbers and found a local distributor who carried it. Might have to buy a box of 50 or so of each but you'll use plenty!

Thanks for the great responses everyone!

Happy to know they are available. I don't like taking stuff apart and not having the stuff to put it back together.

AMK even carries a book that shows ALL of Ford fasteners (I forget all the years, but it covers our Slicks) with complete descriptions, specs and plating types. How cool is that?
