'67 Mustang Worth???

Post by Effie »

Hey Ya'll

My brother in law has a '67 Mustang coupe. It's in pretty decent shape, nice interior, he replaced the floor pans and stuff. Its a good driver.

He's got it listed for sale for $4900. He had a guy come look at it yesterday, but the dude has no interest in the 351/C4 and wanted to know what he'd take without the engine and trans. [Which is really good, because its a '69 block that my dad gave before knowing it was special and dad wanted him to keep the engine.]

Any idea on what it'd be worth minus engine and trans??

I would guess 1500. However I think we can see that values are somewhat regional so maybe more.

2500 w/o engine trans around here if the body is solid and the rest of the car is there. Most likely buyer will negotiate down to 2k

It all comes down to what someone is willing to pay.If you look in the bluebook a non orig engine is a minus...but say the replacement is a 427 SOHC...well?Region...Economy...There is an infinite number of variables to consider. Just my two cents.
