I am so glad that there are "others' out there with the same love for this truck..... we have four....all unique, different in every way....one is an offroad race truck, one has a chevy engine, one is a daily driver unibody, and the other unibody is bone stock............I cant wait for him to take pictures and submit them.........we have spent so many nights in the garage restoring these old girls....... :D :D

Welcome from Louisiana. Yes, it is a "Slickness". Just look at my herd as an example. Thank goodness, my wife is almost as bad as I am (what am I saying, she's probably worse). She's an "enabler", and has never balked at me buying a new slick, in fact comes home often with "I saw a slick parked in a yard..." Again, welcome to you and your spouse, but we require pictures, and lot's of them.
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

Welcome to Slick 60s. More than one is almost a personal requirement, I'll be adding the next Slick project maybe late next year or certainly the spring after.

Where are you located? There is likely someone near you.
I have had my '66 F-100 for nearly 30 years now, still a work in progress. She even has a name, it is my Sweet Southern Comfort!

Using this site to judge if your husband is nuts may not give a clear understanding of what sane is... Everyone here is nuts about Slicks... LOL

Yeah, the definition of sane around here may not be a valid one. I've had my Slick for nearly 30 years, and she still has a long way to go to look good.
My 23 year old son wants it.
My 13 year old daughter wants it.
I can't seem to get it through their heads that if they have the Slick, they don't have ME.

So they still argue over it.

Is that sane or what??!!
