Must be on my end then. It was a wonderful weekend really enjoyed it we got all of our yard work caught up and then some. Would rather have gone on a long bike ride but oh well maybe next weekend.

You're weekend sounds just like mine, went out and got a ton of yard work done, asked everyone early on if they wanted to on a bike ride and everyone agreed. Then my teenager took off with his friends, a kid came over to work on our old computer so I can get my GPS maps to download, the new PC doesn't have a serial port all USB so the GPS won't connect and by the time everything came back around...no time for the bike ride. :(

Best laid plans huh. Yep been there done that at least we got some stuff accomplished maybe next weekend. But wait, I'm retired I don't have to wait for the weekend. Sounded good huh. seems like the weekends have the best weather of late so weather driven activities will have to wait. It's raining om us as I write this supposed to be that way the next few days oh well just have to deal with whatever comes our way, weather wise anyway. :dontknow:

I was out polishing the 64 grill in the shop and came out to a pretty cloudy and neat evening so I grabbed the camera and took some pictures of the humble abode and then gave them the HDR treatement and then seamed 3 of them together in Adobe photoshop for panoramic of the place.

Here is just the right side of the 3 photomerged pictures to give it some perspective.

Cory,
you need to send me your "yard ornament" so I can channel it over a custom frame, chop the top, and drop my Y block in front of the firewall.

Just as long as you give it back when complete. I'll get it loaded tomorrow and headed your direction.

That old Model A had followed me through 2 divorces and has been in 3 different flower beds with me. We have some deep rooted bonds.

Cool, Photomerging is fun. :)

FYI for any Photoshop users, it's quite simple to make HDR images if you also have Adobe Bridge. There's a function called "Merge to HDR".

These aren't HDR, but since the name of the thread is "Photography Fun" I figured I'd share these here. Just a few photos I was able to get at the Greaseball Bash car show! I'd been looking forward to this show for weeks but unfortunately the weather didn't really cooperate so I think the attendance (both in cars and spectators) had dropped off considerably by the time I arrived (I was volunteering at a fundraising event in the morning and didn't get to the show until early afternoon). There was some other cool stuff there but unfortunately the rain started up again before I could do a full tour.

Nice pictures!! Makes me want to get in some of those cars and dump the clutch, they look like they'd be a blast.

Thanks!

The bare metal car seemed that it would be especially fun. It's a '36 Austin and I don't think my photos fully illustrate just how tiny and narrow it is. :D

How did they get the window tinted orange like that, it looks good on that car.

I think they're coloured lexan. It has the same stuff for a roof panel!

Got the mountain bikes out and went for a ride on what they call Rails to Trails, it's a MT Bike path on the old Railroad Bed between Ashton Idaho and Tetonia Idaho. Had an awesome time.
