Slick vs Oak Tree

I was reading the thread on classic car insurance the other day and I was thankful that I couldn't give any first hand info on claims...well that was then and now is now.
I backed my slick into a giant oak tree on my own property. I had a disassembled car (hood, fenders, engine and tranny) in the bed. I was trying to see where I was going with the non-adjustable-enough passengers side mirror, when BAM!
Anyway...I called J C Taylor and filed a claim, and they said to get one estimate and fax it in. I went to a high-end restoration shop near here ( they had a Lambo Diablo, a '69 Judge, and a 2010 Hemi Challenger without a drivers side in the shop)
They estimated $1080, which I thought was wway too much, but i sent it in, and the next day they called to tell me the check was in the mail.
So, thumbs-up for JC Taylor.

I had noticed that also.
What is it about taking pictures of Slicks in bare feet? Never tried it myself. Maybe we are missing something JC.
