I listened to Rush the other day and the ice from Katrina that was stored and that US payed million to keep stored frozen had expired
I like Rush did not know ice could go bad

I was a tad perplexed about that one too.Paul Merrell wrote: I like Rush did not know ice could go bad
Sounds like they just said that to justify their existence...and we sheep are just supposed to take that excuse at face value.

i asked a friend of mine and he said that after a period of time,it will get stagnant, like water does from sitting.he told me to put an ice cube in the freezer and leave it for a couple years to see what happens, apparently it will keep shrinking until its almost gone and smell very bad.Paul Merrell wrote:I listened to Rush the other day and the ice from Katrina that was stored and that US payed million to keep stored frozen had expiredI like Rush did not know ice could go bad

There are also various bacteria and pathogens actually living in Ice. After a certain amount of time they start to increase. Like above ice stored in artificial refrig' will go bad over time, about 18 months in fact. Plus it costs big money to keep ice frozen in commercial freezers month after month. Several Million Dollars a year are spent here in Florida and the State EOC was dumping Ice last month here.
