Slick Photos
Slick Photos
I like taking photos of our '65 F100 longbed Slick and sometimes posting them here. Hawkrod is a wealth of info on photography and has made excellent suggestions that will help me to take better photos.
I would like to see photos of your Slick, no matter what the condition, posted here. So, how about it?
Here is a shot that I took of Low Tech this morning.

Ho, Ho, Holy cow! Look at those tires! Nice truck and nice shot, slick4x4. BTW, we use Roundup on weeds when they are small around here and they never grow to be as large as the ones in the back of your photo...

Jake,
Robert's truck is REALLY nice! I checked it out for him on my way through St Joe once last year. If he didn't buy it it would probably be here, lol.
You can even see the factory paint quality stamps still on it in a few places under the hood.
I think those look pretty good Chris, if the lighting & composition were just right it wouldn't really look like an old pic. Would look staged for effect.

well you would have had to spray them ''weeds'' about 40 years ago !

thought I'd try a couple with the picture manager on the computer,
does not have the photoshop capibilities but I'm easily satified
really been meaning to bring the 2 pictures I only have of my dad's 65 he had when I was in the service, took them just because it was half covered in snow but it really nice, yellow and white with the side tool boxes
so yes putting a string around my finger now to remind myself to find and bring to work.
I'm dying to fnd a old barn like that and get some photo's also
