64 inner fenders on a 66

I have a nice set of 64 inner fenders and I was wondering if they could be made to fit a 66 without too much brain pain?

I really don't see why not. The mounting points for the firewall and the fenders are all identical.
You'd have to re-drill the core support and change the battery tray but aside from that they should work.
But man, talk about confusing the faithful at a car show.
Tell them it was a one of a kind special order truck because you like round inner fenders. 8)
