tonneau cover ideas
Thanks in advance for any help fellas. I got a long bed styleside that I am planning to do in a 60's mild Kustom style. Its dropped now, 2 inch ww, still original paint, for now. I have a red and white tuck and roll seaty and want to do a cover for it, but dont want to put snaps on my bed. Has anybody used or modified a new kit for our older trucks? Any photos? I see some used "new" kits on CL and was wondering how it would look on a older truck? Thanks Again

I have a long bed and like you did not want the snaps in the side of the bed. I bought a soft cover from LMC that is the new style that the rails clamp to the bed sides and the rails have the snaps in them.............Kid

I have (I think...I'll have to look to tell you for certain) an Xtang Trifecta on my Slick which is a long bed styleside.

Totally flat when installed but folds up in 3rds. Very light. Held on by simple clamps with levers; no tools needed to remove or install. Long bed dimensions for tonneaus are the same up through the 1980s. Bed liners are a slightly different story (but close enough most will work with some trimming).

Turtle you have exaxctly what I want. I need just the frame work. Looked on my local CL and found nothing I am going to have a Kustom cover made with tuck and roll down the center. I also dont want it to look like a "new style" cover, and turtles fits the bill. Thanks to all of you for your help.
