Yesterday, Samdog1966 and myself went to my local hole, we spent better than 6 hours there, total length of yard is 1.2 miles x .25 miles in THE WOODS. found everything we needed spotted more for spring.

I would have pulled that BBW while I was there myself . Those go for $650.00+ new plus shipping just for the glass . I drove 2 hours both ways just for a BBW glass cause I could get it for $200.00 plus anything else I could pull off the truck before it went to the scrapper . I already have the sheetmetal and trim but didnt have the glass and just couldnt popp for the new glass .
Man that would be a great place to go "shopping" thanks for posting the picks. That 63 4X4 is unusual, it looks like it was a 2x ut on a later frame do to the wheel base and styeside bed on a 4x4, interesting.

Super place to go--lets see if John pipes in too...
John looked at the bbw he said the trim is perfect, we got a lot of stuff but don't want to be piggy as I've been pulling from there for better than 30 years. He does have an F 500 1964 in decent shape, I may look at in the spring, mounts like new, floors poor, steps very good....
Lots in there but it's heavily wooded, and he has appx. 10,000 vehicles and stuff and most of it is impassable.
But it was an awesome day.

Didn't pay much attn. to that, or could it be a '66 with a diff. clip on it?
Had 8 lug splits on front and 8 lug innies on rear.
What triggered my question is that from all I've read and seen is the 66F-100 4x was the only 4x that had the
styleside bed due to every long bed having the shorter (120") wheel base like you truck and my 64 . From what I've read our trucks share the same frame/wheelbase from the first year Ford made their first in house 4x4 in 1960 and they never changed them until the 1/2 ton in 66 and all the trucks in 67. Still looked pretty good though, maybe it was a 64 swapped onto a later frame.

I don't know of anybody around here with a UNI as they were all rotted to death in the '70's. The owner knows me and my trucks past and present and I get a bargain too, depending on his mood, time of day, weather, you get it, depends if I can score or not.AND, he knows what everything is worth
This place is awesome. Steve and I hiked, climbed, crawled, for 6 hours and did not see all of it. Thousands of cars, trucks, fire trucks, rescues, const. equipment, golf carts,mice,chipmunks,...ect.Lots of slicks. All years shapes and sizes.
Most only accesable only by 4wd or by foot. It is a shame mother nature has taken many good parts.
This is a gold mine, not only for slicks, but for all the treasures that are rotting away up there in the woods. Most are from the '70s and earlier. Had a great time on our exploration. Hope to go back in the spring.
Biggest problem with this yard is ok we moved my truck 6 or 7 times and tried to do grid searches, we'd spot something and be way off 'grid' tools with truck, get tools find something else, wrong tools, go back and spot another one with more stuff...We did a good recon of what we saw, but depending on road conditions next time in we may see more or not and if the owner is in a good mood or not.
