This is nice looking but no tailgate and a lot of rust according to the owner.

If it had a tailgate I would buy it and attempt to do a restomod.

Will a uni fit on a 65-72 frame?

Nope, the cab mounts different. IF you have skills to do some MOD work im sure you could pull it off. but not a direct fit.

So I found a disassembled 70 SWB with a 390/C6, the uni is also a Short bed.

If I lay the frames side by side how do they match up?

Is the width and WB the same?

If its just a matter of cutting out the uni mounts and welding them on the 70 frame, thats not to difficult.

How do you pull the body off a uni without bending or breaking it? Seems that after nearly 50 years they would be pretty weak.

If I lay the frames side by side how do they match up? Close

Is the width and WB the same? Width yes WB longer, but better fit actually

If its just a matter of cutting out the uni mounts and welding them on the 70 frame, thats not to difficult. That's about it Boats

How do you pull the body off a uni without bending or breaking it? Seems that after nearly 50 years they would be pretty weak. I would use a gantry or A frame, I would hope you could do the rigging LOL
